Doloswella Estate is located in Nivithigala, where years gone by, Rubber had been the predominant perennial crop in the area. However, recognizing a high demand that emerged for Leafy Teas amongst countries in the Middle East, large scale planting of Tea by small holders took root in the region, thereby feeding factories with fresh succulent leaf, essential for the production of Orthodox teas. Doloswella is renowned for its production of exquisite Silver and Golden Tip Teas, contrived from the delicate harvest of only the apical bud of the tea leaf.
